In the shadow of the Noce di Sant’Angelo, the ruins of the Abbey of Sant’Angelo, between Quota and Raggiolo, in the heart of the Casentino are transformed into a living stage for an extraordinary narrative: “A story under the Noce di Sant’Angelo”. This enchanting event, designed for families and children, offers a unique experience of musical storytelling immersed in the evocative atmosphere of one of the most evocative places in the Casentino.
The story told during the event will have as its central theme the JOURNEY as an opportunity for growth, an opportunity for exchange and comparison. The stories of travelers, migrants, intertwined with the thousand-year history of the Abbey of Sant’Angelo, create a magical and engaging atmosphere that captures the imagination of young and old.
Through engaging storytelling and immersive music, participants are transported to distant worlds and times gone by, where they discover the courage, determination, and resilience of those who have embarked on extraordinary journeys in search of a better life. The characters in the stories are rich in nuance and depth, and their stories arouse emotions ranging from hilarity to emotion, from enthusiasm to reflection.

The initiative is carried out as part of the activities of the Ecomuseum/Bank of Memory of the Union of Municipalities of Casentino in collaboration with the municipality of Ortignano Raggiolo and Poppi, the Pro Loco of Quota and the association La Brigata di Raggiolo.
