On Friday 28 February at 9 pm at the Vladimiro Zucchi hall in Migliano, the artistic installation by Davide Sgambaro will be inaugurated, which will commemorate Tuscan emigration abroad.
Located on the bell tower of the Church of San Martino in Treppignana, the work will be visible only once a day.
Through strobe lights, it will transmit messages in Morse alphabet. Every evening, for a few minutes, light will become a sign and language. Just before sleep, a Morse code phrase, chosen by the artist together with the population, will evoke the link between those who stayed and those who left, between what was and what we would like to return.
The project curated by Toast Project is promoted by Italea Toscana as part of the PNRR Tourism of the Roots project of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in collaboration with the Union of Garfagnana Municipalities.
